July 14, 2016, the day 84 innocent men, women and children were massacred in Nice, France by an ISIS sympathizer. July 18, 2016 a refugee wielding an axe attacked passengers aboard a train in Wuerzburg, Germany while screaming “Allahu Akbar.” July 20, 2016 the President said, at the White House Summit on Global Development,” Because the world has never been less violent, healthier, better educated, more tolerant, with more opportunity for more people, and more connected than it is today." Just six days later, July 26, 2016 two terrorists took five people hostage during a morning Mass in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, France where they murdered an 86 year old Catholic Priest in the name of ISIS.

I believe the President's lack of a national security strategy to defeat ISIS shows he has forgotten about Orlando, Paris, Brussels and San Bernardino. It is getting harder and harder for Americans to turn on their news. Humanity is under attack. National security is my top concern because Americans deserve to be and feel safe. Congress has passed national security measures and will continue to do so, as it is our responsibility to provide for the common defense, however-- it is the job of the Commander-in-Chief to take such threats seriously.
