U.S. Congressman Rick Allen (R-Ga.-12) released the following statement regarding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s joint address before Congress earlier today: “It was an honor to welcome Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the House chamber and attend his joint address to Congress this morning. As our closest ally in the region, Israel and the United States have a longstanding partnership, and it was important to hear directly from Prime Minister Netanyahu about the unacceptable threat of a nuclear Iran. The Prime Minister’s address reinforced my firm belief that we must stand strongly with Israel at this critical time and work together to prevent Iran from continuing its dangerous efforts that threaten the safety of our nation, our allies, and the world.” |
