Inflation will cost families an extra $8,000 this year

For months, President Biden and congressional Democrats have failed to take responsibility for the inflation crisis they created. The president has blamed rising prices on meatpackers, gas stations, and the war in Ukraine, but the truth is that rampant government spending and top-down Washington policies are hindering economic growth.

Since Inauguration Day, House Democrats have passed nearly $4 trillion in new spending. For reference, that's almost all the money we brought in last year, and it's out the door before we even fund the government.

As a result, the inflation crisis will cost American families an extra $8,000 this year as consumers struggle to keep pace with rising prices.

Enough is enough. Republicans will put an end to this recklessness and restore fiscal responsibility in Washington.

Exciting opportunities for Georgia students

The Congressional App Challenge offers students a chance to express their creative talents while gaining practical experience and acquiring the skills they will need to participate in the 21st century economy.
