Touring the Savannah River Site

On Monday, I visited the Savannah River Site, a Department of Energy site in South Carolina, where I toured some of their facilities and discussed the importance of our nation's nuclear weapons stockpile stewardship and nuclear materials disposition. The Savannah River Site supports many jobs in Georgia's 12th District, and I'm proud to support its important mission.

Meeting with the President of East Georgia State College

It was a pleasure to meet with Dr. David L. Schecter, President of East Georgia State College in Swainsboro, where we discussed initiatives to strengthen higher education in the state of Georgia.

As a son of two educators, a father of four, and grandfather of 14, I know how important the value of education is on the path to achieving the American dream.

Speaking at Dublin Exchange Club

I spoke at the Dublin Exchange Club, where I gave a D.C. update and we discussed legislative initiatives my colleagues and I are working on to bolster our workforce and tackle inflation.

Touring the Wincore site in Swainsboro

I dropped by the Wincore manufacturing facility in Swainsboro, where we discussed workforce and legislative solutions to fixing our supply chain.

Visiting the Laurens County EMS headquarters

It was great to visit the headquarters of Laurens County Emergency Medical Services and speak with several EMS directors about the ongoing ambulance shortage.

I believe that emergency medical service providers and first responders deliver essential care to communities and help save lives.

Touring the Saint Gobain/ADFORS site in Dublin

I toured the Saint-Gobain ADFORS site in Dublin and saw their fiberglass manufacturing facilities.

As your Congressman, I am always eager to see firsthand how new technologies can revitalize industry and spur economic growth.

Speaking at Augusta West Rotary Club

I spoke at the Augusta West Rotary Club in Evans where I provided an update on key issues affecting Georgians and shared my positions on some of the hot button topics of the day.

Attending the Toombs/Tattnall County Farm Bureau Legislative Dinner

I spoke at the Toombs & Tattnall Counties Farm Bureau Legislative Dinner in Reidsville where we discussed current issues affecting farmers and legislative initiatives my colleagues and I are working on regarding Georgia's agriculture industry.

As the son of a farmer and a member of the House Agriculture Committee, I am proud of the role that agriculture plays throughout our state and the 12th District.
