The House passed the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.

Just as your First Amendment right to free speech does not change from one state to another – neither should your right to protect yourself or your family.

On December 7th, Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we honored the brave men and women who lost their lives defending this great nation.

We honor them for making the ultimate sacrifice.

Robin and I were excited to attend the White House Congressional Christmas ball this week.

Thank you to President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump for welcoming us to your home!

The House passed the Taylor Force Act, which ends foreign aid to the Palestinian Authority until it stops financing terrorism.

I also wholeheartedly support the President’s decision to recognize the capital of Israel as Jerusalem.

With the government funding deadline looming – we passed a two week continuing resolution.

After passing all 12 appropriations bills in the House, the Senate needs to do their job and take up our bills or pass some of their own.

Earlier this week, the House and Senate voted to go to conference on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act!

I have full faith in my House colleagues on the conference committee. They will iron out the differences between the House and Senate bills, and then we will have a final vote soon!

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to speak with 7th graders visiting Washington D.C. from Bulloch Academy. It was a pleasure to meet you all!
