Let me start by saying thank you for the honor and privilege of serving you in Congress. I will continue to fight for the 12th District and our values in Washington.
The right to vote is sacred and must be protected by ensuring all legal votes are counted and any cast improperly are investigated. That’s why I joined 38 of my House Republican colleagues in sending a letter to Attorney General Barr asking the Department of Justice to use their resources to ensure that the election process is conducted in a manner that is fully consistent with state and federal law. We also ask what steps the DOJ is taking to ensure the integrity and transparency of the ongoing election process. You can read our full letter here.
Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Breakfast
I had the honor of speaking at the annual Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce Legislative Breakfast. This year has been especially tough on our small businesses due to COVID-19, and I will continue to do all that I can to ensure our businesses have the resources needed to recover.

This week we celebrated Veterans Day – a day dedicated to honoring and remembering all who have served in our great military. We are forever indebted to these heroes and their families for their sacrifices, and they deserve our gratitude every day.
COVID-19 Vaccine Progress
This week we received encouraging news that Pfizer is nearing completion of a highly effective COVID-19 vaccine. Thanks to President Trump’s leadership, under Operation Warp Speed, Pfizer, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Military have formed a partnership to produce and deliver a safe, effective vaccine following successful manufacture and approval.
Georgia Ranked Best Business Climate in the U.S.
Even in these unprecedented times, Georgia continues to break records. For the eighth consecutive year, our state has been named the state with the best business climate by Site Selection. We continue to lead the nation in growth and investment.
National Apprenticeship Week
Apprenticeships offer unique opportunities for workers to gain valuable skills needed to secure a good-paying job and long-lasting career. This week we celebrate American businesses, workers and educational institutions who make these important partnerships possible. As a member of the House Education and Labor Committee, I will continue to support policies in Congress that encourage apprenticeships.
