Modernizing America's Labor Laws

.

Republicans stand with the 21st Century worker, and it’s time to ensure our labor policies do too.

That is why I introduced the Employee Rights Act alongside Senator Tim Scott, legislation that updates our nation's labor laws by expanding necessary workforce protections for independent contractors, franchisees, entrepreneurs, and anyone seeking flexible work options.

This bill also protects employees’ privacy, membership dues, and the union election process from being abused by union bosses.

Read more about this landmark legislation here.

100 Days in the Majority

.

This week, my Republican colleagues and I celebrated 100 days of our majority in the House of Representatives.

We've hit the ground running in the 118th Congress, passing several bills to jumpstart American energy production, defund Democrats' 87,000 IRS agents, affirm parents' rights to be actively involved in their children's education, and nullify overreaching Biden administration rules that could jeopardize Americans’ retirement savings and property.

I am proud to have supported these key legislative initiatives, and I remain committed to getting the government out of the way and returning the power back to the American people.

Protecting Women and Girls in Sports

I voted to pass H.R. 734, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, legislation that would prevent biological males from competing in women’s and girls’ sports programs.

It is imperative that we protect our female athletes and allow them every opportunity to succeed in sports.
