I pressed our witnesses about the many harmful policies coming from the Biden Administration that have contributed to rising costs.

Communications and Technology Subcommittee Hearing
"Legislative Proposal to Sunset Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act"
Section 230 provides immunity to online platforms from civil liability based on third-party content. However, in many cases, Section 230 enables large Internet platforms to amplify and monetize harmful content. In this hearing, I focused my questions to the expert witnesses on how we can protect publishers from having their intellectual property used to train artificial intelligence (AI) models without being compensated for it, and whether AI models should be excluded from Section 230 protections.
