Surveying Timber Damage in Emanuel County

Hurricane Helene decimated millions of acres of timber in Georgia, devastating our state's forestry sector. In Emanuel County, I saw the widespread damage firsthand. I remain committed to working in Congress to deliver critical disaster relief for our growers so they can begin to rebuild.

Receiving an Update from Evans County EMA

I caught up with the Evans County Emergency Management Director to receive an update on recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. If you experienced damage from the storm, you may be eligible for individual assistance. You can apply for federal assistance by visiting www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling FEMA's application hotline at 1-800-621-3362.

Visiting Crawford and Breazeale Drug Company

In Lincolnton, I had the pleasure of visiting Crawford and Breazeale Drug Company which has provided quality care and on-time medications to Lincoln County residents and our neighbors in need for 100 years. Local pharmacies are facing many challenges, but I will always fight for policies that allow our small businesses, including family-run pharmacies, to thrive.

Touring Club Car in Augusta

I also met with Club Car's leadership team in Augusta to learn more about their operations and dedication to producing high-quality vehicles, ensuring safety, and supporting American jobs!

The Central Savannah River Area has long been the epicenter of U.S. golf cart manufacturing. Unfortunately, the golf cart industry is facing economic challenges due to China’s unfair trade practices and I’m fighting on behalf of this important economic driver in our region. Learn more HERE.
