I am incredibly blessed to be the father of four amazing children, and even more grateful to watch my son and three sons-in-law embrace the joys and responsibilities of fatherhood themselves.
Seeing them love, lead, and provide for their families is one of life’s greatest blessings. I am also reminded today of the lifetime of cherished memories that Robin and I shared with our dads.

On Tuesday, it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon in Warrenton. I met with Warren County Chamber of Commerce President Jeffrey Fowler, visited the historic Knox Theatre which will soon be brought back to its former glory, and stopped by the famous Miss Jane’s Restaurant to see the new upgrades! |
Attending the Grand Opening of Ritz Instrument Transformers in Burke County

I also attended the grand opening of the Ritz Instrument Transformers (Ritz) Waynesboro Plant. Ritz, an international instrument transformers and cast parts manufacturer for the utility and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) sectors, has invested $28 million into this new facility—creating 130 new jobs in Burke County.
For over a century, Georgia has fostered healthy industry practices, encouraged collaboration and innovation, and positioned itself as a leader in developing and harnessing emerging technologies for evolving industries. Meeting with County Leadership in Thomson

In Thomson, I met with McDuffie County Manager, Brandon Burton, and County Commission Chair, Chase Beggs. We grabbed lunch at Sweet T's Restaurant—a local favorite—to discuss updates in the county, how I can be of assistance at the federal level, and some of my work in Washington on behalf of our rural communities in the 12th District. |
Thank you to our First Round of Summer Interns

Our first round of summer interns have wrapped up their time in my Washington, D.C. office. I want to thank Cecilia, Cale, Robie, and Rebecca for all of their hard work over the past six weeks! I have no doubt they will go on to pursue successful careers in the future.
I also announced that my office is now accepting applications for the 2026 Fall Internship Program. This program is open to college students and young professionals interested in learning about the legislative process and assisting with the responsibilities of a congressional office. Interns will perform a range of tasks including constituent outreach, legislative writing, and more, with the possibility of earning school credit.
Fall internships will be offered from August to December 2026, with specific dates to be discussed during the interview process. Applications can be submitted HERE. |
Celebrating America's 250th Birthday

On July 4, 2026, America will celebrate the most important milestone in our country’s history—250 years of American Independence. As we approach this monumental day, I want to be sure you have all the information you may need about festivities being held in Washington, D.C.
Under the President’s leadership, the Salute to America 250 Task Force (“Task Force 250”) is executing a full slate of festivities, which began on Memorial Day, 2025, and will continue through the end of 2026.

This Week's White House Highlight

Last year, President Trump designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization and directed the full power of the federal government to disrupt and dismantle the violent anarchist network. This week, the Department of Justice struck another decisive blow by charging 15 Antifa-linked terrorists in a conspiracy to violently obstruct lawful immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis.
The Trump Administration has made it clear: Antifa terrorists and their networks will be investigated, disrupted, prosecuted, and neutralized with the full force of federal law. There will be no safe harbor for those who attack law enforcement, obstruct lawful immigration enforcement, or wage campaigns of political violence against the American people. |
