Rep. Allen Praises Level IV Trauma Center Designation for Winn Army Community Hospital

U.S. Congressman Rick W. Allen (R-Ga-12) released the following statement after the Winn Army Community Hospital located at Fort Stewart announced that they are now home to a Level IV Trauma Center that will serve the entire surrounding community. Fort Stewart stretches across five counties in Georgia, including Evans and Tattnall counties located in Georgia’s 12th Congressional District. “I recently had the opportunity to visit the Winn Army Community Hospital and tour Fort Stewart, and I am so proud of the work that is being done at this critical base. With this announcement, the Winn Army Community Hospital has become the first military hospital in the state of Georgia to have a Level IV Trauma Center, and I would like to congratulate the entire community and personnel located at Fort Stewart for all of their hard work in achieving this designation. I am looking forward to the great things yet to come at Fort Stewart and I will continue to do my part to support their mission and people.” ### |
