House Education and Workforce Committee to Host Bipartisan Innovation Forum and Showcase

theClubhou.se from Augusta, Georgia to be in Attendance

U.S. Congressman Rick W. Allen (R-Ga-12) issued the following statement ahead of tomorrow’s bipartisan Innovation Forum and Showcase. This event is hosted by the House Education and Workforce Committee in order to hear from innovators around the country on how they plan to address our nation’s education and workforce development challenges. Congressman Allen has been a member of the House Education and Workforce Committee since being elected to Congress and will hear testimony from Eric Parker, co-founder of theClubhou.se, located in Augusta, Georgia.

“As a member of the House Education and Workforce Committee, we have been working diligently to cultivate a qualified workforce that is ready to fill the jobs of today and tomorrow. To do so effectively, it is critical that we hear from some of our nation’s most talented innovators about how they are addressing these education and workforce development challenges at the local level.

Augusta is in a unique position with a need to grow our cyber workforce, and I look forward to welcoming members from theClubhou.se to Washington, D.C. to hear about their ideas, innovations, and strategies currently being put to use in our community.”
