Rep. Allen To Hold Veterans Town Hall

U.S. Congressman Rick W. Allen (R-Ga-12) announced today that he will be hosting a town hall specifically for veterans on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Emanuel County Veterans Center. This town hall is designed specifically to address the needs of veterans living in Georgia’s 12th district. Veterans will hear from Congressman Allen and have the opportunity to visit with him and members of his staff. They will also be able to receive assistance with casework or federal agencies such as Veterans Affairs, Social Security, Medicare, and others. If veterans are unable to make this town hall, they are encouraged to contact Paul Lynch or Megan Abbot, Constituent Services Representatives, in the Augusta District office at 706-228-1980. Congressman Allen stated, “supporting our veterans is crucial, and this town hall will serve as an opportunity to answer any questions and take steps to resolve issues our veterans may be experiencing with the federal government.
