Georgia Congressmen Introduce Resolution Recognizing 50th Anniversary of Dental College of Georgia

U.S. Congressman Rick W. Allen (R-GA-12), along with Congressmen Sanford Bishop (D-GA-02) and Drew Ferguson (R-GA-03), released the following statement today after introducing H. Res. 247, a resolution recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. “For fifty years, the Dental College of Georgia has successfully educated and prepared students from all walks of life to enter the dental profession and provide a valuable service to their communities,” said Congressman Allen. “As the only dental college in the state of Georgia, enrolling nearly four hundred students and sixty residents annually, we certainly have cause for celebration. I am proud to introduce this resolution today with my fellow Georgians, Congressman Bishop and Congressman Ferguson, to recognize this tremendous milestone for dental education in our great state.” “Congratulations Dental College of Georgia on fifty years of educating future dentists!
