Congressman Rick W. Allen (GA-12) today announced the winning artwork submissions from high school students in Georgia’s 12th District for the 2021 Congressional Art Competition. The first place winner’s artwork will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year, and the other winning pieces will be displayed in the offices of Congressman Allen. All submissions will be on display at the Westobou Gallery in Augusta during the month of May.
“We had a wonderful turnout for this year’s Congressional Art Competition, with 13 schools participating,” said Congressman Allen. “The artwork we received shows just how much talent lives in the 12th District, and I want to extend my congratulations to this year’s winners.”
