Georgia Rep. Allen introduces legislation to help entrepreneurs build businesses

U.S. Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA-12) is working to expand access to programs that would provide training and resources to anyone hoping to start their own business. Earlier this week, Allen introduced the Startup Act which amends the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act of 2014 by including language that incorporates entrepreneurial skills development training into the current federal system.

Allen says The Startup Act also authorizes the Department of Labor (DOL) to conduct a three-year, multi-state study to review the outcomes of these programs and report its findings to Congress.
