Rep. Allen votes to declassify information on COVID origins

Today, U.S. Congressman Rick W. Allen (GA-12) voted to pass S. 619, the COVID-19 Origin Act. This bill would require the Biden administration to declassify any information relating to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology and the origin of COVID–19. Upon the bill’s passage, Congressman Allen made the following statement: “For the past three years, Washington Democrats and the mainstream media have attacked anyone who dared to question the official narrative on COVID’s origins by accusing them of spreading ‘misinformation.’ “Now, the intelligence community is saying what many Americans figured out a long time ago – that COVID-19 most likely came from that very lab. “House Republicans promised to fight for a government that’s accountable, and we are demanding full transparency from the Biden administration about the origins of this terrible virus. The American people deserve to know the truth.”
