WASHINGTON, DC—Today, Congressman Rick Allen (R-Ga.-12) released the following statement on the 58th Presidential Inauguration:

“Today we witnessed history. After eight long years, we have finally closed the chapter on policies and agendas that do not represent the needs or interests of the American people.

I am truly excited to hit the ground running under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to create an America that Americans feel confident in again.

Americans have given us the greatest gift and responsibility and I do not take that lightly.  I vow to work tirelessly and rigorously with my colleagues in both houses and the new administration to represent the voice and agenda of the American people.”
