Allen Statement on President Trump's Appointment of David Perdue as Ambassador to the People's Republic of China

Today, Congressman Rick W. Allen (GA-12) issued the statement below following President-Elect Trump's appointment of former Georgia Senator, David Perdue, to serve as the next United States Ambassador to the People's Republic of China:

"This is yet another strong nomination from President Trump. David Perdue's international business expertise will suit him well in carrying out President Trump's peace-through-strength policies as our next Ambassador to the People's Republic of China. Having known David for many years, I look forward to seeing all he will accomplish in this new role on behalf of our great nation. Robin and I wish him all the best."
